With a little bit of imagination and creativity pub tables and stools can be used for all sorts of things and in all areas of the house. To get that traditional pub setting look you should choose tables and chairs with a dark stain or made from a dark colored wood like cherry or walnut. For old world charm you can’t anything better. It’s surprising how useful pub tables and stools can be around the home. Any small unused area around the house is the perfect place to put one of these tables. Put a vase or nice photo frame on the table when you’re not using it for anything else.

An outdoor area is a great place to put your pub tables to use as well and not just for boozing with your mates. They are also great little serving tables for a buffet or a place for the kids to sit. Three or four pub tables used as serving tables reduce the crowd that happens around a single buffet table.

For those of us who are fortunate to have a games room use your pub tables and stools just like in a real pub with chips and drinks and somewhere for your buddies to sit while they watch you rack up the points on the billiard table. Also work great in your average dart match as well. Who would want to go out when you can have this much fun at home? Just invite your mates over and you’re good to go.

There is a diverse range of styles and many different manufacturing materials to choose from as with all forms of furniture. They come in plain styles or can have intricate designs. Dark oak and cherry are very popular with the wooden style of pub stools and tables. Wrought iron or cast aluminums are popular choices for the outdoor styles for easy maintenance.

For the retro look checks out the large range of chrome and leather style of tables. If you are a fan of the 50′s this is the perfect way to relive that era in your own home.
